The day before the day before yesterday, we got up and spent 3 hours getting ready to freakin leave the Terracaribe. We caught a bus to the ADO bus station and caught another one to Playa del Carmen, a little beach settlement down the coast an hour. Another taxi to where we are staying for the next few days, A RESORT. The hotel mum had previously booked here had canceled on her at the last minute so we had to book into this beachside resort “The Royal Hacienda” which has over 500 rooms, 500 deckchairs, 7 swimming pools, 2 restaurants, a bar, 2 poolside bar and snakerys, fully equipped kitchen in every “villa”, a Jacuzzi in every villa, a beauty salon, a beauty spa and 4 “whirlpool spas”. Wow omg. It’s amazing. Must go explore. BYE xo
The day before yesterday, we awoke in our extremely luxurious beds and had breakfast. Mum went to a free pilates class and me and dad went to this aqua fitness in the pool hahahahahha. We then went and swam to the reef and snorkeled on it that is just offshore here, although only saw a few fish. After that we had lunch and then lay around for a bit. We rented some kayaks so that was fun J For dinner we had roomservice food but it was good!!
Yesterday, we got up and went to the supermarket that is in the lobby area of the resort. An actual supermarket!! Haha and got some pinapple and coconut so we could make pina colada and all these other smoothies :DDD yeah. I took dad along to a zumba class (omfgrofl funniest thing ever seeing him trying to do it) and then did some lengths in the lap pool ;). Lay around, took pictures, went in the Jacuzzi, the whirlpools, lay on the beach etc etc hallelujah so relaxing :L!!!
